Project Management

Project Management involves planning and managing resources to deliver new outcomes in a specific time frame. Projects differ from normal day-to-day activities which are repeated systematically and are not intended to produce novel outcomes.

PRINCE2 and PMI are two widely followed approaches to managing projects.

PRINCE2®

PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) was developed by the UK government to manage its projects.

PRINCE2 is the most successful project management method in the world – it has become a de facto standard in both the private and public sectors.

PRINCE2 provides common processes, management products roles and language for use throughout all an organisation's projects.
